Unlock Your Network

Plans don't achieve great things. People do.

Behind every great initiative, there's a web of people who made it happen. Some of them are on the same team. Some came together briefly at just the right leverage point. Every initiative calls for a different mix of people and action.

You already have every relationship you need to accomplish your next great initiative. You just need a way to surface the ones that are most important, place them at the right leverage points, and set it in motion.

Every great achievement. Every great cause. Every great company.

They all happen the same way — through people, working in alignment, doing the right things at the right moments across whatever boundaries are in the way.

What you're trying to do is no different. The method is the same.

Unlock Your Network is how great leaders do great things.

Do your next great thing with UYN

You've done this before. You can do this one too.

Behind every one of your past wins there was a network of people who helped you make it happen — some on your team, some in your orbit, some who came in for a moment at exactly the right time. You had the relationships then. You have them now. What's harder is seeing them clearly when a new initiative is in front of you and the path isn't obvious yet.

That's what UYN is for. We work with you to surface the people in your network who matter for what you're trying to do, place them at the right leverage points, and build the plan that puts them in motion. You walk away with a Resource Activation Plan you can run on Monday — and a way of working you can use for every great thing that comes after.

Not every great thing is a moon landing. Sometimes it's a product launch that changes a regional industry. Sometimes it's a fundraise that lets you build something that wouldn't have existed otherwise. Sometimes it's a transition that the people around you have been waiting for someone to lead. Whatever yours is, the method is the same — and the people you need are closer than you think.

Two ways to run UYN

Solo and Team

Solo

For one leader pursuing one initiative.

For founders raising rounds, executives launching new lines of business, consultants entering new markets, leaders navigating transitions.

Your network, your initiative, your plan — built one-on-one with a facilitator across three working sessions. You walk away with your Resource Activation Plan, your network map, five to seven priority relationships, and the 90-day plan to activate them.

Team

For a leadership team aligned on a shared initiative.

For founding teams in growth mode, sales and business development teams aligning on target accounts, executive teams pursuing a strategic move together.

Each participant brings their own network, and the program synthesizes across all of them. You walk away with a collective Resource Activation Plan, a network map showing which relationships sit with which member of the team, shared priority relationships, the gaps in your collective coverage, and action items with clear ownership.

It's the map nobody on the team could have drawn alone.

How it works

Three working sessions over three to four weeks.

Session 1

Strategic focus

Before we meet, you complete a short questionnaire about the initiative and what's driving it. We come to the live session with a draft of the strategic framing, and we work through it together until the initiative and the disruption around it are named with the precision a plan can be built against. Most clients are surprised at how much sharper the language becomes in this hour.

Session 2

Network mapping

The core of the program. A guided working session where we surface every relationship that connects to your initiative — people, organizations, the connections between them, the role each one might play. The session is paced to give the work the room it needs. You'll name relationships you wouldn't have thought to activate, and you'll see the shape of your network in a way you haven't before.

Session 3

Plan review

We bring you your finished Resource Activation Plan — priority relationships, conversation starters, the 90-day timeline, the delegation, the gaps. We walk through it together, you push back where you want to, and we finalize. By the end of the session, you have everything you need to run.

Optional — Activation coaching

Keep a working partner across the 90 days and beyond.

Once your plan is finalized, you can add ongoing coaching sessions to help you run it. New questions come up. New people surface. Things shift. Activation coaching gives you a working partner across the 90 days and beyond — to refine the plan as it meets the real world, run additional mapping when something opens up, and keep momentum on the relationships that matter most.

For Team engagements, the same structure runs across multiple participants in parallel — and Session 2 surfaces relationships across everyone's networks.

What you walk away with

The deliverable.

The Resource Activation Plan is your initiative's working environment. It lives on a platform we built specifically for this work, and you can return to it any time across the 90 days and beyond.

Resource Activation Plan overview
The plan

Your initiative, on one screen.

The plan opens with your strategic initiative, the disruption driving it, the leverage available to you, and an at-a-glance view of priority relationships, action items, network clusters, and gaps.

Priority relationships view
The priority relationships

The cards you have open Monday morning.

For each of the five to seven people who matter most: why they matter now, what to ask for, what to offer, how to approach them, and the line you can use to open the conversation.

Network map with filters
The map

Your network, oriented around what you're doing.

Every relationship surfaced during the program, visualized around your initiative. Two views — a structural view that shows the network through its relationship channels, and a flow view that shows how the network moves around the work. Filters let you focus on priority relationships, surface dormant connections, or look at specific clusters.

90-day plan timeline
The 90-day plan

A sequence, not a list.

Three phases of roughly thirty days each, with named relationships, specific actions, owners, and timing. Not a to-do list — a sequenced plan with rationale at every step.

Delegation view grouped by owner
The delegation

Hand off the parts that aren't yours.

Action items grouped by who owns them. The work that's yours stays yours; the work that belongs to someone else is named, structured, and ready to hand off.

We built the platform because nothing off the shelf does this — and because the deliverable deserves to be a working environment, not a PDF.

Behind UYN

Mark and John.

Mark Monchek
Founder, Opportunity Lab · Creator of UYN

Mark founded Opportunity Lab and created the UYN concept. For more than a decade he ran the work as a facilitated strategy session with executives, founders, and family-business leaders. The thinking behind the program — that the resources are already there, that real change happens through people in alignment, that the leverage sits in the network you've already built — is his.

John Natoli
Co-creator of Opportunity Intelligence · Creator of the platform

John is co-creator of Opportunity Intelligence and the creator of the platform UYN runs on. He designed the current Solo and Team workflows, built the synthesis layer that turns session material into structured plans, and built the visualization environment. The program in its current shape — three productized sessions, the platform, the operating model that clients keep — is his contribution.

Questions

A few things people ask.

How is this different from networking advice or executive coaching?
Coaching helps you think more clearly. Networking advice gives you general principles. UYN produces a specific plan for the specific initiative you're pursuing — the five to seven relationships that matter most right now, what to ask each one for, the order in which to do it, and the platform to run it from. You leave with a working document, not a feeling.
Solo or Team — which one?
Solo if one person is making the strategic call and pursuing the initiative. Team if the work belongs to a leadership team and the network is distributed across them.
What does the 90-day plan actually look like?
Three phases, each running about thirty days. Each phase has named relationships to activate, specific actions, owners (yours or someone you're delegating to), and timing. It's not a to-do list — it's a sequenced plan with rationale at every step.
What happens after the 90 days?
The plan is yours. The operating model is internalized — most clients run a second cycle on a new initiative when one comes up. Some bring us in for ongoing strategic work through Opportunity Lab.
How long is the engagement?
Usually 3–4 weeks from Session 1 to a finalized plan, but it can be done faster when needed. Then 90 days of running it. Activation coaching can extend the engagement as long as it's useful.
Who is this not for?
UYN is built for leaders pursuing a specific initiative they can name. It is not for early-stage founders without a paying customer, not for people exploring whether to have an initiative, and not for anyone looking for a networking workshop or a contact-management exercise.
What does it cost?
Pricing is in conversation. The walkthrough is the right place to start.
